About Us

What is Rotary?

Warialda Rotary Club is part of a worldwide organisation of over 1.2 million men and women – people who are united for the common good. The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise, through: the development of acquaintance, or meeting, as an opportunity for service; promotion of high ethical standards in business and professions and in community life; taking on the ideal of service in each one’s personal, business, and community life; and the advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace.

Our Values – The Four-Way Test

The Four-Way Test is an ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. Of the things we think, say or do

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
