1  Public Speaking

The aim of this competition is to broaden the public speaking experience of students in years 10 and 11 . The speaking topic is of the competitor’s own choice but must relate to one or more of the principles in the Rotary 4-way test.

The 4 Way Test :

“Of the things we think, say or do:

Is it the TRUTH?

Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?”

Students Address Major Current World Issues

Students representing schools and Rotary Clubs in Inverell, Moree and Warialda competed in the Cluster Round of the Rotary Public Speaking Competition on Monday 7th November. The event held at the Warialda Golf and Bowling Club was won by Moree student Gemma Mihill, whose topic was “World Hunger”.
